POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
2. Works with director to determine current needs for program.
3. Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
4. Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
5. Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc
6. Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
7. Support growth and program development.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred.

  • 2. One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator of people or activities.

  • 3. Ability to use typical business software and office equipment.

  • 4. Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA.
