Job Summary

The Order Selector will drive a forklift in order to pick, put away or move furniture. This position is responsible for picking and loading furniture for customers that are picking up their furniture purchase. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, abiding by all company safety regulations
  • Properly scan all pieces being put away, picked or moved between locations.
  • Wrap merchandise prior to putting away when necessary.
  • Properly annotate paperwork if item is not located in an aisle or bay on pick sheet
  • Assist with daily cycle counts and monthly inventories.
  • Assist in the research and finding of missing pieces.
  • Report any damages to merchandise, lift machines, racks or boards in the racks.
  • Maintain production levels in accordance with company standards.
  • When assigned to Customer pickup area insure proper procedures are followed when picking and loading a customer's purchase.
  • Complete all other tasks and duties assigned

What We Need From You

  • Must have good communications skills, be detail oriented and be able to learn to drive a warehouse order selector and forklift.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must have attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Be a self-starter and a team player.
