Job Summary

The Furniture Prep Associate opens all items scheduled for delivery or being transferred to the stores. This role does general inspection and assembly of products before they are loaded and shipped to stores. This position ensures all items are in showroom quality condition before leaving the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, abiding by all company safety regulations
  • Open and inspect all merchandise for damages
  • All items requiring assembly are properly assembled, tagged, and located to proper route
  • Inspect all items for defects, damages, missing parts and proper function; notifying technician/ lead/manager of defects to ensure only showroom quality furniture is delivered
  • Organize merchandise for delivery teams in reveres stop order
  • Maintaining production levels in accordance with company standards
  • Install all hardware and parts (feet, handles, legs, supports, etc.) required to consider a piece complete, ensuring all pieces are correct, ready for inspection, and delivery.
  • Complete all other tasks and duties as assigned

Salary Range

$13.00

What We Need From You
