Hiring Senior Valve Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Valve technicians will have the following experience:
Ability to read mechanical drawings/blueprints
Experience working with safety valves Disassemble valve and determine what parts are good and bad then machine/order new parts and reassemble them for the client
Proficient with rebuilding valves based on the drawings or blueprints
Experience with the following: actuators, positioner - both pneumatic and electrical, converters, and all components of a valve
Ability to rebuild, disassemble, tear down, blast, monitor switch controls, and put back in line or fit the valves back into the system. Candidates must be able to work on all types of valves (Ball, safety, relief, control, etc.). Primary business is working on relief/safety valves, but candidates must be able to handle any type so they can be sent on various jobs. Ideal candidates will have 2-10 years of experience and worked in various types of power plants, paper mills, and industrial experience. they will be asked to travel up to 300 mile radius of Jacksonville including GA and that is only 25% of the time. The largest valve candidates need experience with is 48 inches.
