Job Description Summary:
The Night Utility Engineer will assist guests with maintenance requests, identify problems and perform various maintenance tasks responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel.
Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. One-year experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry preferred. Ability to use hand tools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Resolves guests’ maintenance problems and handles all guest requests. Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks in all guestrooms and other resort areas. Identify problems that cannot be readily repaired and write work orders for those problems. Complete basic work order requests. Basic knowledge of EMS and life safety systems, with training. Accurately complete daily rounds sheets and identify and report major problems.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
ENVIRONMENT:
Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside possible in inclement weather. Must be able to work at various heights on ladders, roofs, etc.
