Job Description Summary:
Find peace, quiet and wide-open spaces at Doral Arrowwood, the premier Resort and Conference Center in Westchester County. The Steward will clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silverware, cooking tools
(pots, pans, bakery sheets etc.) for the Hotel outlets, catered functions and kitchen. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas and seasonal outdoor F&B Venues.

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle and dock area.
  • Clean down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, sort and store clean china, glass and silverware using proper procedures.
  • Ensure trashcans are emptied and clean inside and outside.
  • Ensure all residue of food, smoke stains etc. are removed before storage.
  • Sweep and mop the floor to ensure proper cleanliness hotel standards.
  • Clean all breakdown tables.
  • Clean tiles walls and baseboards
  • Must demonstrate “Be the Difference “attitude with our guest and employees.
  • Provide assistance to cooks in maintaining cleanliness of prep area, cold and hot line.
  • Follow proper sanitation standards in compliance with Department of Health.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have experience working with chemicals.
  • Must able to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be able to move or lift 25 lbs. or more.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays. AM & PM shifts available.
