Spa Concierge – Vail Marriott Mountain Resort - Full Time - Summer Seasonal - Vail, CO

As a spa concierge, you're at the heart of your spa operation and the soul that keeps the team on task and moving forward. You assist our team members to stay focused on their treatments by resolving operational and administrative issues as they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest spa products and services. You use that knowledge to strategically anticipate the needs of our guests and ensure our guests satisfaction. In addition to being organized, you possess the strong judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of guests and job functions.

A spa concierge job at the Golden Leaf Spa is staffed by a bright, organized, energetic and dependable person who is driven by a common company goal: to create an experience of a lifetime. You make a significant impact on the people you support, while simultaneously creating an amazing guest experience, which requires the particular talent. Reach your peak!

Responsibilities:

• Have proficient knowledge of treatments offered, current spa specials, and group discounts.
• Schedule spa appointments and cancellations accurately. Perform an array of administrative tasks.
• Preform all actions of spa guest check in / out procedures. Deal with guest issues if they arise.
• Have extensive knowledge of all retail products and assist guests with selecting beneficial products for their at home regimen.
• Follow all spa opening/closing procedures, including housekeeping walkthrough and accounting checks.

Qualifications:

• One year work experience in a related field (spa, salon or hospitality). –preferred
• High school diploma or the equivalent. -required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required 
• Must possess excellent communication skills, in order to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form, in-person and over the phone, to guests and employees throughout the organization. -required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft word, excel, email, internet. –required
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. -required
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. -required
• Must be able to crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl. -required
