PrideStaff's client is an accredited Technical College in the Lehigh Valley and they need your skills and leadership abilities to lead courses in their Carpentry and Construction Program

If you have 4+ years of solid Experience as a professional Carpenter with a thorough knowledge of modern construction methods, along with age–old traditions of craftsmanship, this is great opportunity! You do not need teaching experience. Our client will teach-you-to-teach. You will receive instruction in conducting classes along with prepared teaching tools.

The successful candidate will have:

• 4+ years of documented in Carpentry / Construction
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Tools and safety
  • Blueprint reading
  • Construction sitework
  • Floor framing
  • Wall framing
  • Roof framing
  • Drywall installation and finish
  • Interior millwork
  • Cost estimating
  • Construction contracts
  • Construction remodeling
  • Cabinet making
  • Related trades
  • Stair construction
  • Exterior finishes
  • Roofing techniques
• Demonstrated leadership skills - (i.e. team lead, supervisor, coach, scout leader, volunteer fire department, etc.)
