About this job

The purpose of this job is to manage construction projects in support of real estate initiatives, including new store openings, relocations, acquisitions and renovations. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating any retail facilities maintenance which requires a contractor or other construction vendor.   

Duty or Responsibility

Create layout and design of stores using Google SketchUp and other software

Create low voltage plan - including data, phone, audio/visual and sound system layouts

Create scope and finish plans for store remodels and acquisitions

Coordinate and oversee construction schedule to ensure adherence to schedule and on time/on budget opening/completion

Coordinate delivery of trade fixtures to arrive for timely installation.

Order trade specific materials when needed for construction

Assist in establishing construction budgets for projects

Coordinate data installs and set-up network gear when needed

Manage additional construction items or renovation projects for all aspects of the business

Work with property managers/owners to coordinate construction and submittal/approval of plans

Complete site visits of construction projects to ensure compliance to plans and help resolve issues as they arise.
