Summary

The parts manager position is responsible for ensure proper handling of parts for customer sale and for the trailer repair services provided. This includes ordering, organizing, and distributing parts as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. These include, but are not limited to, cleaning of shop areas, paperwork, training of new employees, etc.

We understand that most individuals are not proficient in all areas of trailer parts. As such, we are committed to providing opportunities for a parts managerto learn additional skills to further advance the parts manager knowledge and skill set.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the semi-truck trailers and/or parts management.

Position Requirements

The following items are considered requirements for the position:

  • Excellent attendance
  • Positive attitude & strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance occasionally
  • Ability to regularly lift or carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, sit, or lay for extended periods of time
  • Reading, writing, and comprehending documentation
  • Computer  usage, including data entry and retrieval
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • Pride in quality of work performed
