Summary of Position:
The distribution driver/loader ensures the loading and delivery of our food products to catering events, to our restaurants and farm are consistent, on time, organized and in great condition. Organizes pick-ups and drop offs of various items. Works hand in hand with the Logistics Manager, Executive Chef & Catering Operations Manager. Has some maintenance responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understands the vehicle needs of the different departments. Collaborates with office staff, culinary staff, Logistic Manager, & catering teams to ensure delivery needs are coordinated and executed with minimal disruptions.
- Follows distribution and labor schedules to provide an excellent customer experience to our many locations and off premise catering events.
- Ability to focus on customer needs while ensuring that all Fenwick Hospitality Group policies and procedures are met
- Loads vehicles within a reasonable time in order to meet delivery times.
- Follows the laws of traffic and maintains a clean driving record.
- Maintains a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with all policies and regulations.
- Vehicle is maintained clean and ready for next trip
- Ensure seamless delivery and safe return of food and equipment.
- Assists Logistics Manager in creating and implementing systems that efficiently meet the needs of the business.
