The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The General Manager reports to the District Manager.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work at least ten hour shifts with extensive standing/walking. May lift materials and/or product up to 50lbs or more.
• Oversee the entire operation of the restaurant
• Develop and coach a team of managers
• Increase sales and profitability through guest satisfaction
• Practice prompt problem resolution
• Maintain accountability for all financial reports for the restaurant
• Work closely with the District Manager to identify opportunities
• Evaluate management’s progress and success
• Control all profit & loss areas of the restaurant
• Establish relationships within the community
• Assist management team in any areas of opportunity
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested
College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative. ™ Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). ™ Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports. ™ Must possess a valid drivers license. ™ Must be eligible to work in the United States. ™ Must agree to background and credit check.

Requirements

Job Requirements
Minimum two years in a General Manager role in a high volume restaurant concept. Education and/or experience normally associated with a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, restaurant management or equivalent.
