Our client is one of the largest DISH Network Sales and Service providers in the country with 10 Florida locations and over 400 technicians and 50 support professionals. They are currently seeking a contract Recruiter at their Tampa, FL location.

  • Recruit field Service Technicians using Social Media Outlets, i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc.
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring processes including: recruiting, interviewing, pre-employment screening and new employee onboarding.
  • Administer required documentation; employment applications, pre-employment testing, drug screening and criminal background checks.
  • Oversee all pre-employment requirements (e.g., background investigations including reference checks, drug testing, etc.) to ensure compliance, proper applicant tracking flow and records maintenance.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert in areas of on-boarding, new hire processing and related activities.
  • Maintain all employment documentation (recruiting forms, offer letters, job descriptions, employee referral forms, etc.) within company policy and legal compliance guidelines.
  • Receive, review, and communicate results of background checks and drug tests with all candidates; initiate adverse action process as needed for disqualified candidates.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Execute the corporate recruitment strategy by identifying and sourcing the appropriate talent
  • Perform comprehensive targeted research strategy for qualified candidates via internal databases, job boards, schools, professional associations, business contacts with other companies and discussions with other research personnel 
  • List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels
  • Review, pre-screen, assess and interview candidates to determine relevant skills, experience, knowledge and aptitude in relation to position requirements
  • Serve as a contact for hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting process, ensuring each receives individualized attention, timely communication, and follow-up; while guaranteeing a positive, respectful experience for all
  • Maintain an active and ongoing pipeline of quality candidates to support future business needs
  • Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters to unqualified candidates
  • Assist in the management of the company’s social media sites
  • Track and maintain applicant database according to company standards
  • Proactively seek out industry information and best practices to continue to improve processes
  • Seek out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates through social media posts, resume mining, outreach efforts, college/university recruitment, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other position advertising methods.
  • Perform job and task analysis to develop, document and/or update job requirements, specifications, objectives and descriptions
  • Oversee and/or serve as active participant in additional recruiting projects to ensure continuous refinement

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF HIRETUAL, INTELLIGENCE SEARCH, DATA MINER and CONTACT OUT.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, behavioral, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checking, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines according to company needs
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and social media
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Experience with computers, including in-depth internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively, develop successful relationships with coworkers and management at all levels within the organization and deal effectively and professionally under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and sound judgment.
