Part coach, part cheerleader, part host(ess) with the most(ess) - a style bar General Manager inspires our team members and helps deliver memorable Guest experiences. A General Manager is the bedrock of style bar culture and morale. The ideal shop manager would be someone who understands how to cultivate and maintain relationships, keeps his or her thumb on the pulse of their business, their people, and their mission. This role is perfect for someone who is ambitious, driven to exceed goals, and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring constant multi-tasking, and nimble problem solving.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

" Coach. Cheerlead. Host. Repeat.
" Manage, guide, and inspire the style bar team each day
" Represent and lead your team based on Mane + Mani's core values
" Invest time in your people. Identify and mentor the future leaders of our Company
" Interview, onboard, and retain high quality candidates; Take initiative to attract and recruit
" Ensures compliance with workforce laws
" Works to exceed style bar & company-set goals
" Coach and give feedback as necessary for all team members, ensuring our standards are being met at all times
" Build relationships with Guests, ensuring that our Guests receive memorable experiences every visit
" Maximize the shop's financial potential, and optimize your style bar's Profit & Loss
" Resolve employee relations and customer issues ensuring the Company is protected against liability with a mindfulness of shop morale and culture
" Execute operations, marketing, and human resources objectives in the style bar
" Manage timekeeping and payroll reporting for your staff; Build and maintain employee schedules
" Perform inventory functions, minimize shrink, and maintain ordering levels

PREREQUISITES:

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: 2+ years of management experience. Some salon/beauty industry experience preferred but not required. Experience in a fast paced service environment. Related experience focused on delivering exceptional guest service and a genuine passion for developing and leading a team. Proficiency in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team. Proven track record in growing sales.

Other: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction. Light traveling required. Open availability and flexible schedule required.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the style bar as needed and to operate a computerized cash register. This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday and sometimes over 8 hours. The Employee must have the ability to lift approximately 12 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
