Home Instead Senior Care-Edina is currently seeking qualified individuals to provide Awake Overnight care for 4 seniors in a residential care home located in Bloomington, MN.
This position requires 2 yrs of previous CNA experience and applicants must be willing to commit to an EO Thursday-Sunday Awake Overnight (11pm- 7am) schedule. Opportunities for additional hours may become available within a short period of time.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks
Meal preparation
Medication management and reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence cares
Dementia/Alzheimer's Care and Hospice Care
Job Requirements include:
Current CNA certification plus 2 yrs experience (previous experience in-home care or residential care home setting preferred)
Friendly personality and adaptable work style
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Current driver's license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance (if proving in-home care service)
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
***We are also seeking in-home CAREGivers for a variety of weekday shift assignments in Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Richfield and South Minneapolis. These are typically shorter shifts during the day/evening and work very well to supplement current employment or to earn extra income.***
Experienced applicants earn up to $15 per hour, starting. DOQ, rate of pay to be determined at interview.
