Overview
We are looking for a PRN Radiological Technologist to help in our Family Practice Clinics. As a PRN employee you will be required to work (1) 8 or 12 hour shift per month, 2 weekends per year and 1 holiday rotation.
Our Family Practice Clinics are located in Cascade, Peosta, and on Pennsylvania Avenue in Dubuque. The Cascade and Peosta Clinics are also walk-in care clinics. The general hours of operation for our clinics are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am--5:00 pm, other than Cascade which is open from 8:30 am -- 5 pm and closed on Thursdays. All of our providers at these clinics are currently taking new patients. Our Pennsylvania Avenue Clinic location also houses our Women's Health and Behavioral Health Clinics.
Responsibilities
The Clinical Concierge Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiologic procedures. Assist provider and other clinical staff with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patient for clinical examination, treatment, and minor surgical procedures. Administer medication, other treatments, and injections as ordered by provider. Tracking and follow-up on patient testing related to disease process management, schedule referrals, answer phone calls and take appropriate messages, and appropriate documentation in electronic medical record. Perform phlebotomy and lab testing as needed. Assist and perform other procedures, including EKG.
Qualifications
Must have an active Permit to Practice Radiology in the State of Iowa. Must have an ARRT.
