JOB SUMMARY
Public Storage is expanding the Third Party Management platform and is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the complete life cycle of all strategic partnership initiatives. This position works with works with vendors, third party owners and the Public Storage internal team to establish and meet timelines. 

The ideal candidate is highly task driven with prior experience in successfully delivering on projects in the real estate and/or property management industries. The Project Manager will work closely with Management and other Departmental Leaders to implement strategies and processes that align our team’s deliverables and the Company’s overall business objectives. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as a primary source of contact for project status. Maintains communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provides overall prioritization and direction of work assignments, team resources, etc. Monitor and creates project deliverables.
  • Manage and execute the overall project scope, budget, and timelines. Identify project success factors for analysis, reporting, and tracking.
  • Manage assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
  • Develop detailed project plan to track progress and major milestone timelines
  • Develop business processes to ensure we manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
  • Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents recommendations to Business Development Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years project management experience, preferable within commercial real estate or property management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Organized, goal-oriented ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and works well in small and large groups.
  • Ability to clearly articulate point of view verbally and in writing and quickly grasp business objectives and strategies.
  • Strong relationship building and team skills. Supervisory experience, developing, and leading a support team is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong presentation, and interpersonal capability, both internal and external
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to keep stakeholders and third party owners informed
  • Knowledge of property operations, including maintenance and insurance a plus
