We currently have multiple openings for Brake Press Operators in Madison, AL
Job Description:
Set up and operate a hydraulic brake press to a set of work instructions.
Select correct tooling for the job.
Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.
Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality issues
Utilize a variety of material lifting devices
Utilize a variety of material control devices (fixtures, templates, etc.)
Work responsibly and safely at all times.
Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment
Shift: First
Pay Rate: $12 - $19 hr depending on experience
Requirements:
Must have Press Brake Experience (1 minimum experience)
Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated.
Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry.
Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools.
Work independently with minimal supervision
Must work well with others.
Be able to lift up to 40-50lbs routinely
Ability to Stand for 12-13 hours
Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics preferred
Ensure and verify material
Provide immediate feedback when problems occur
Background and drug screen required
