Pool Attendant - Arrowhead Alpine Club - Beaver Creek Resort - Full-time / Part-time

Arrowhead Alpine Club: The Arrowhead Alpine Club builds upon the consistent standards of excellence through relationships and nurtures the magic which creates vitality. Ideally located at the base of the Arrowbahn Chairlift, Arrowhead Alpine Club is at the western gateway to Beaver Creek Mountain. With a 20,000 sq. ft Clubhouse featuring an expansive, state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, The club offers ski valet services, concierge and amenities including ski clinics with pros, exclusive year-round activities, a lively social calendar, members–only on-mountain lunch, continental breakfasts served daily, and much more. The Pool Attendant will oversee the outdoor swimming pool & hot tub areas.  Duties include but are not limited to: opening and closing for pool areas, cleaning tiles around the pool, vacuuming the pool, ensuring members and guests are welcomed warmly and genuinely, monitoring pool/hot tub throughout the day for safety and cleanliness.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing a positive attitude and service with a smile to members and guests.
• Must perform opening and closing responsibilities required for the daily operation of the pool area, including cleaning restrooms, cleaning tiles of the pool, and skimming debris off the surface of the water.
• Arrives on time and in uniform for each shift, has proper nametag.  Swipes their card at the time clock before the start and end of their shift.
• Greets members and guest by name whenever possible.
• Engages members & guests in appropriate conversation.
• Maintains a safe, clean and fun atmosphere for members and guests.
• Cooperates with other staff members by assisting them as needed.
• Is professional at all times when discussing the Alpine Club or Vail Resorts.
• Assists with member/guest requests or questions & answer questions promptly and courteously.
• Complies with Alpine Club facility usage policies and all Vail Resorts policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Be able to work independently and take direction
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• In person interview required
