Job Overview:
Physically verifies location data, SKU data and performs physical counts of merchandise daily.
Essential Functions:
• Performs and records counts within allotted time frames, for all storage type commodities.
• Corrects WMS inventory counts as needed.
• Reports To Inventory Department management.
• Accountable for all WMS adjustments.
• Updates Cycle count log and distributes to CEB and Inventory groups daily and adjustments made.
• Utilize CRT for research purposes.
• Compile information for daily/weekly reports.
• Communicate daily with Managers, Working Supervisor & Coordinators
• Encouraged to be active members of the company sponsored Shortage Committee.
• Assist in other department functions as deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma
Communication Skills:
• Ability to effectively communicate and present peers and all levels of management Demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude, strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
Mathematical Skills:
• Embraces change in technology – Tech savvy, mobile and new media awareness.
Reasoning Ability:
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values.
Physical Demands:
• This position may involve stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching and lifting up to 30 lbs., as well as regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.
Other Skills:
• Enthusiastic, friendly, positive energy.
• Exceptional ability to develop relationships solves problems, use good judgment and influence customers/co-workers.
• Proven ability to set and achieve goals.
