Job Description
Job Title: Assembly/Production Technician
Reports To: Manager, Operations
Position Location: Charleston, SC
FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Production/Assembly Technician is responsible for the production and/or assembly of a variety of products. The position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. They rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs assembly/production duties using hand or power tools
  • Must be able to perform basic visual quality control on products
  • Must be able to maintain the production pace of other team members
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Performs other duties.

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma from accredited learning institution.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
