Job Title: Assembly/Production Technician
Reports To: Manager, Operations
Position Location: Charleston, SC
FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Production/Assembly Technician is responsible for the production and/or assembly of a variety of products. The position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. They rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job.
Key Responsibilities: Performs assembly/production duties using hand or power tools Must be able to perform basic visual quality control on products Must be able to maintain the production pace of other team members Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Performs other duties.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: High School diploma from accredited learning institution. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization. Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
