Electrical Technician Motors and Controls
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to envision, model, design, develop, test and benchmark state of the art Motors, Motor Controllers and Drives. The team will be involved in the complete life cycle management of the system solutions from concept to analysis. Reports to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
Stay up to day on futuristic motor, controllers, drives and software methodologies, protocols, designs and applications
Develop, test and validate motor control algorithms in the lab and in products
Help define requirements for motor control software and interfacing hardware components including voltage and current sensors, power stages and speed sensors
Requirements:
Electrical motor experience (at least 5 years)
CT Emerson experience (or similar)
Vast knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and formulas)
2 year technical degree
Above average communication skills
Keen eye for detail
