Global supplier of metal stampings and assemblies for the automotive industry seeking DIRECT HIRE TOOLMAKERS for DIE REPAIR! Opportunities available on all shifts!
Tool room position will be responsible to:
Perform general die maintenance (sharpening, repairing and/or replacing details, modifying tools)
Make details and tooling to print and/or customer requirements
Troubleshooting and adjustments in press to bring dimensions to specification
Conduct test runs to ensure parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary
Document adjustments and modifications along with results

Requirements
Minimum 5 yrs experience with progressive and transfer tools, deep draw tool knowledge a plus. Apprenticeship program or equivalent training preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
Experience working with and operating common tool room equipment
HS Diploma/GED
Ability to pass drug screen & background check
