The requirements for a are strict – set by the company and by our clients that deal with stringent medical requirements. As such, Drivers must be:
- At least 27 years old
- Have a clean driving record for the past five (5) years
- You must also have dependable transportation to get you to and from work.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds to fulfill the physical requirements needed for this position
- High school diploma is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to read schedules, maps and communicate (both understand and speak) English clearly.
- Must be able to operate a tablet or smartphone device
- Submit to a background check and drug test
Driving for a transport company is a rewarding and challenging experience, but it comes with responsibility. Once slotted into a schedule for a pick-up, you are responsible for that portion of the schedule, and are depended upon to do your job.
You will be asked to drive an ambulatory, stretcher and wheelchair vehicle, and will receive the appropriate training to operate the safety measures associated with the vehicle.
