About this job
The Buyer for General Services in Indirect Purchasing is responsible for managing all commercial terms and developing sourcing strategies. The Buyer has functional responsibility for identifying potential sources, managing quotations, negotiating, and awarding long-term contracts. Additionally, the Senior Buyer manages all aspects of the supplier relationship, including contract maintenance, achievement of annual cost savings targets, and development of supplier/commodity strategies. This position will also support the various processes and procedures of the Indirect Purchasing Services team, while driving improvements to the organization and improving efficiency.
This position will work closely with the Mopar, Manufacturing, and Security organizations. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering & General Services Purchasing. The position is regional in nature; however, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with global counterparts in other regions to look for additional leverage opportunities.
