Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Job Summary: EMCOR Facility Services (EFS) provides full spectrum facility services to public and private sectors of nearly every market. EFS is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to provide assistance to facility management team to ensure exceptional service delivery in the client’s space. This position will perform routine daily operation tasks to maintain physical space in a large corporate environment for a financial services firm. The Maintenance Coordinator role coordinates work requests, manages the work processes related to maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and operation of the facilities under his or her responsibility. The ideal candidate will efficiently coordinate third party vendors and work with the local client partner, with a close attention to fine details of the assigned facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check the work order system daily for work requests assigned to the facility and coordinate completion of the work with facilities team, vendors, or third party contractors within the assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Submit and oversee preventive maintenance and demand/customer work orders to completion. Follow-up with vendor and client as needed. Validate vendor/third party spend to approved work order amounts
- Perform daily inspections and follow established procedures to ensure that the facilities are safe, clean, and kept in Class A office standards at all times
- Respond to and resolve client complaints and observations regarding the facility
- Provide direction to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption
- Assist Building Management Team with tactical planning for the team’s goals and objectives
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 Years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education, and experience
- Valid state drivers license, OSHA 10 preferred
- Must be able to speak English and communicate effectively with team members and client.
- Candidates will possess at least an intermediate knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use. Knowledge of a computerized and tablet based work order management software is a plus.
