Responsibility:

Responsible for all activities related to service of In-Room, which includes, organization, preparation and serving guests in room, delegation of job tasks, training and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service to all guests.
Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standard.
Understand and accurately follow the standard of service.
Ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods.
Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
Explaining all food and beverage items listed on the menu.
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
Good knowledge of wines and spirit.
Knowledge on food allergies or restrictions.
Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
Handle and organize all inventories required by the restaurant.
Utilize the POS and HotSos system as per policies and procedure in place.
Responsible for cash handling and cash drops after approval of manger.
Responsible for breakfast pre-orders, including picking up door hangers from guest rooms, ringing in checks, setting up tables.
Observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in Room Service, public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
Work flexible schedule when required.
Attend and participate at all scheduled meetings.
Attend all scheduled training.
Handle complaints or guests concerns.
Give feedback on guest comments to the management.
Communicate with the Assistant Manager and In-Room Dining Manager and to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Food & Beverage Department to stimulate continuous improvement.
Communicate with management and other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals.
Ensure a safe working environment for all employees within the work area.
Recognize and address potential intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests.
Report employee and guest accident and incidents.
Respond properly to any hotel emergency.
