Responsibility:
To be responsible for all activities related to service in the Bar, which includes preparation tasks and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
To observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the back of house department area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
To assist the servers with the clearing and cleaning of bar tables during service.
To retrieve complete food/appetizer orders from the kitchen in a timely fashion.
To frequently communicate with the Bar Manager and Beverage Manager to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Food & Beverage Department to stimulate continuous improvement.
To ensure a safe working environment for all employees within the Bar.
To ensure that all bars have enough ice, enough glassware and that all required consumables and perishables are available to them prior to opening.
To properly maintain and clean the glass washing machine on a daily basis.
To always be in contact with the bartenders for any shortage of supplies,specially ice, that might occur during service.
To put away wine bottles in respective area and do “storing” duties at any required times.
To ensure that any problems or situations occurring, involving guests or staff is immediately reported The Bar Manager.
To comply with weekly cleaning schedule and polishing schedule for the bar.
To follow any other instructions concerning any special events, parties or services.
Attend all designated staff meeting and training sessions (Department training record).
