Job Description

The role will be based in Palo Alto supporting the Global Operations and reports to the GOC Supervisor.

This position will oversee the GOC’s efforts across the company in support of Global & Local workplace services and other Headquarters groups, to identify security initiatives and standards.

Responsibilities

? Site Security and Safeguarding of our People and our Assets Coordinate and maintain oversight of the physical site security plans and operations to ensure protection of employees, visitors, vendors, assets, and infrastructure
? Maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the organization. Oversight of protection responsibilities include workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance, and emergency protocols (e.g., disaster recovery, text messaging alerts, and employee safety verification procedures)
? Ensure safety and security of our people while enhancing our culture of openness and transparency
? Collaborate with the Shift Supervisors to develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the GOC.
? Implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security, including crisis response scenario planning. Engage in training and certification protocols when necessary to address specific risks.
? Relationships with local Law Enforcement and Intelligence Communities Maintain appropriate relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement.
? Monitoring and Audits Identify and deploy the internal and external tools necessary to identify emerging threats to employees and to business activities. Ensure that the tools deployed include business intelligence and social media monitoring and intelligence collection.
? Assist on investigations regarding security threats and potential unlawful activity. Collaborate closely with the other relevant departments (e.g., Legal, Data Security, Privacy, Corporate Compliance, Human Resources) regarding these matters

Additional Job Functions

? In the absence of the GOC Supervisor, serve as the acting manager and voice of the GOC on all matters pertaining to intelligence, emergency management, and threat management.
? Provide operations support and coverage as necessary.
? Perform other related duties and special project functions as assigned.

Qualifications

? Experience with planning, auditing, and/or risk management
? Demonstrated experience leading a large team or workforce of security or law enforcement professionals
? Experience hiring and supervising critical third-party resources
? Ability be a value-added partner and collaborator who demonstrates boundless leadership
? Solid understanding of information technology and information security
? Experience successfully communicating or presenting to all levels of the organization, including briefing and training on status of security issues.
? Experience with technology, software, creative or media industry operations
? Results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
? Strong leadership, partnership, collaboration and influencing skills
? Ability to work effectively and productively in a highly diverse, creative, fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
