Field Technician

We are hiring a field technician to help support the commercial/industrial division for material testing. This is a large environmental consulting company that works locally in the Cedar Valley.

Work Environment:

• Construction job sites before and during the constructing phases
• 80% of time spent working with soil and concrete
• Dress is steel toed boots, jeans and tshirt
• Work in the field on a team of 1-2 people

Job Duties:

• Obtain concrete core samples
• Observe concrete pours
• Test soil/concrete for density
• Transport construction materials
• Record and transfer documentation of these samples

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum 1 year of heavy labor experience
• Must be able to lift 45lbs frequently
• Must have less than three moving violations on Driving Record in the last 3 years
• Must be able to work as early as 5:30 AM and as late as 6:30 PM if needed
