This position primarily supports various Human Resource functions for approximately 115 employees of the Drives Division in North America (locations include Chambersburg, PA; Raleigh, NC; various sales offices). The essential duties and responsibilities will include Exit Management- Conduct exit interviews and various termination tasks related to salaried / hourly exits.Benefits Administration- Support the benefit administration functions for approximately 115 employees, Run Annual Open Enrollment, and Schedule Wellness Fairs.
Leave Administration-Assist employees in applying for Short Term Disability, Personal Leaves, FMLA Leaves, Track all approved leaves and communicate with Operations weekly, Code employees as required, and Manage employee Worker's Compensation cases.Affirmative Action Plan-Support the annual creation of the NAM Drives Affirmative Action Plan. Investigations-Investigate employee issues pertaining to rules of conduct, harassment, threats, etc. by interviewing witnesses, meeting with supervision, determining corrective action.
Annual Bonus- Support efforts in both salaried and hourly annual bonus calculations. Corrective Action Administration- Review all requests for corrective action from management, Ensure all supporting documentation is attached to requests, Write corrective actions, Administer Performance Improvement Plans. Department of Labor inquiries, Respond to all local DOL inquiries, Represent the company during DOL phone hearings. Daily Employee Relations- Serve as main point of contact for all general employee questions. Reporting- Responsible for producing weekly or monthly reports for various groups as needed. Morale Events-Organize quarterly morale events for employees, Employee Recognition Rewards. Administrative Tasks-Filing, Personnel Folders, I-9 Maintenance, Plant Communication Notices, Order Business Cards.
