Journeyman Electrician

Permanent, full time position. 1st/2nd shifts available.

Electrician, running conduit for various modules, also working on switch gears.

The Journeyman Electrician will work with a team on the commission of HVAC, fire, lighting and energy management control systems. The journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing and terminating conduit wire, cable, equipment, panels, sensors and various control components and devices. Other responsibilities include fabrication of control panels, installation of interlocking wiring and performance of wiring check out, and assistance of systems start-up.

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications to electrical components that will allow ease and efficiency of installation.
• Experience running conduit and bending pipe up to 4"
• Commercial background preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an electrician
• Participates in all construction and remodeling projects involving plumbing, air conditioning or gas fitting changes and/or additions.
• Tests repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Keeps detailed and accurate documentation.
• Maintains a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques.
• Vocational or technical training preferred
