Mechanical Drafter/Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Seeking a part-time Cad Designer to come in 16-20 hours a week to assist with our drawings and cad files.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical/technical design support in 3D CAD using ProE/CREO (or SolidWorks.)
• Document control including engineering drawings and product specifications using R&D standards as a guideline.
• Assist with execution of projects.
• Work with engineering resources in house and possibly outside suppliers.
• Assist with product design of new products from concept to design approval.
• Responsible for document control, producing engineering drawings, products specifications, and modifications to existing documents using the ECR system. Responsible for relevant product specifications, standards, and procedures involved with assigned projects.
• Prepare task plans and technical proposals, including schedules, action registers, and time lines.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of design experience utilizing 3D
• Plastic Design/drafting Experience within manufacturing
• Document control experience - translating and converting files
