Aerotek is currently hiring for Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers that can start work Immediately for a first shift opportunity!

Mechanical Assembler:

  • Putting together Power Distribution Centers used in Oilfield, waste water sites, power plants. These are large centers that house the electrical components like circuit breakers and PLC cabinets.
  • Will be lifting 70+ lbs a lot of the day along with twisting and bending.
  • Building the shell of the buildings, putting up wall panels and bolting down and riveting in. Placing supports on the walls. Doing all roofing work.
  • Working the project from skid to a functioning shelter start to finish.
  • May be asked to other tasks outside of assembly. Assisting electricians on pulling wire or painting steel beams.

Requirements:

  • Hand tool experience is a must! (tool list will be provided)
  • Experience in: Roofing, Iron Work, Framing Construction, Window Installation, Door Installation, Home Remodeling, Electrical or Mechanical Assembly
  • Will work pretty independently, must be a self starter!!!!

Electrical Assemblers:

  • Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly schematic drawings and receives verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
  • Aligns and assembles parts such as leads, coils, wires, tabs and terminals into housing.
  • Routes laces and cables.
  • Installs components and parts such as circuit breakers, disconnects, starters, contractors, switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, and semiconductor circuit on chassis, circuit boards, panels and other units.
  • Routes and attaches wires and connectors to form circuitry and connects assembly to power supply sources, switch panels or junction boxes. Attaches hardware and seals assembly.
  • Examines parts for defects such as pinholes or chips.
  • Replaces defective components and wiring.
  • Assembles prototype units.
  • Repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
  • Fabricates small brackets to be used on custom back panels.

Requirements:

  • Blueprint and schematic experience
  • Experience crimping and labeling wires
  • Hand tool experience (tool list will be provided)
  • Self starter
  • Ok working off ladders or at heights on a lift

Location: I-25 and 6th Ave.

Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours a week with 10+ hours of overtime being offered!

Pay: $16+/hr based on experience!
