Prep Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job description:
Candidates will be responsible for the preparation of samples that come into the lab (grinding samples, drying in an oven, utilizing liquid nitrogen to freeze products, blending samples). Must be comfortable working in a dusty environment.

• Utilize a bar-code scanner to check in and locate samples as well as date entry
• Clean equipment to decrease risk of cross contamination
• Follow quality systems documents and SOP's
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weighing samples
• Prepare solutions in daily testing for designated samples
• Complete data entry into computer database

Job requirements:

• Production or commercial experience
• Data entry/processing
• High school diploma
• Scientific background preferred but not required

Additional information:

A standard work week is Monday-Friday is 5:30PM-2AM with the opportunity for lots of overtime, however training will be 8AM-5PM for two weeks. Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug and background screen.
