About this job
One of our manufacturing companies in Elgin, IL is currently seeking a contract-to-hire employee on all of shifts. Since this company is continuing to grow there is room to grow within the company. Their current Operations Manager is looking to hire on a individual that is someone that has a good attitude, no attendance issues, and someone who has a strong willingness to learn over anything. This position will eventually lead into a team lead position down the road as the individual continues to grow within the company. The company will be training individuals to operate the CNC Mills/Grinders. Individual will be working hands on with the Supervisor.
SHIFTS:
- 1st Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM (Depends on Overtime)
- 2nd Shift: 2:00PM-10:30 (Depends on Overtime)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00PM-6:30AM (Depends on Overtime)
PAY:
- $12.00/hourly - 15.00/hourly (Depends on experience)
MUST:
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience
- Willingness to learn
- Comfortable wearing steel toed shoes
- Read/Write/Speak English
- Comfortable lifting 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to do basic math
Plus:
- Operate grinding machines
- CNC experience
- Use overhead cranes
- Read work orders
- Calculate decimal measurements
- Measure parts
- Utilize micrometers and calipers
