Job Description:

Purpose

This position on our team will bring knowledge & system support for Floor and Decor IT initiatives in Order Management System, Ecommerce and integration Systems. For larger part this roles includes performing configuration, testing, issues analysis and resolution, and implementation/post implementation support for Order Management Systems. This also includes performing some development activities for integration with boundary & packaged software’s, for projects and enhancements.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, logistics, supply chain or a related technical field
  • Experience in Retail order management systems or supply chain systems is an added advantage.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Perform software development by creating custom code or scripts as per the business requirements or to automate alerting / monitoring of IT infrastructure or to automate test cases
  • Configure third party Software Products to align with business & IT needs
  • Perform application support that includes:
  • Clarifying / answering queries from other product teams or support teams or business
  • Monitoring alerts & reports for software products, proactively review the performance and capacity of software product covering infrastructure, data, integration messages to take corrective actions
  • Providing application support for software applications running in production
  • Interact with business understand the system requirement / issues reported by them and provide a resolution
  • Technical skills required includes:
  • Experience with database troubleshooting (SQL).
  • Integration development and knowledge in IBM web methods or similar integration technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge in JMS queues, Extensible Markup Language (XML), XLST, XPath, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Working knowledge in Java, J2EE, Shell Script, Python, Pearl.
  • Basic working knowledge in Linux, JBOSS, Open JDK to perform install and deployment of packaged software.
  • Knowledge in various types of testing such as Functional testing, System integration testing, software product testing etc.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Willing to do software production support activities such as understanding, triaging and solving production issues.
  • Proven problem sills and working in multi-vendor and matrix team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
