Calibration Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Established local manufacturing facility is searching for Calibration Technician. This company is a growth-oriented company and is a known leader in the weighing industry. Our client is really looking for that long term fit to come out and prove they have what it takes to get the job done. This new team member will receive excellent benefits when hired on.

Rate of Pay: 17-20/hr
Location: Tukwila, WA
Duration: Full-time, temp to hire position
Hours: Day Shift 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday w/overtime

Responsibilities/Duties

• Calibrating finished product from the Production and Service Departments for sales orders and repaired returns
• Calibrations will be performed per work instructions, manuals, sales order instructions and verbal instructions
• technician will perform daily visual inspection of calibration equipment looking for any unsafe conditions such as loose bolts or cracks
• Tech will report any unsafe conditions to his supervisor for disposition prior to proceeding.

Requirements

• 1+ years related experience
• Basic mathematic calculations (add, subtract, multiplication, division)
• Demonstrates high level of mechanical aptitude
• Occasional lifting 30-50 pounds
• Detail Oriented, good verbal and written communication skills
