Summary Description of this Position:

The Experience and Service Concierge will be expected to have a deep knowledge of Samsung products and services in order to effectively empower the consumer using device discovery. They will create a world class customer experience that promotes excitement around Samsung ownership, by being the experts on Samsung devices, software, and third party products and services.
Essential Functions of this Position:
  • The Sales and Service Expert will be expected to drive an interactive consumer experience by promoting the newest Samsung mobile devices, phones, tablets, wearables and accessories
  • They will lead the way in delivering a transformational experience in-store by recommending product and service solutions to fit their personal, work, and school needs
  • Expert will work closely with all Samsung and agency management, as well as peers within the store, to build and maintain strong relationships, while providing the absolute best consumer experience
  • Passionately engage consumers by showcasing key features and benefits, selling products, assisting with setup of devices and troubleshooting issues
  • Display effective communication and presentation skills, for one-on-one or group interactions, with an ability to capture attention of an audience
  • Promote excitement around Samsung ownership, building consumer loyalty
  • Make a significant impact on sales by meeting personal and store sales goals, and ensuring a world class consumer experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Complete work reports, daily activities, and consumer contact list for events, support with product stocking, reporting and other duties as assigned
  • Educate and share product features and benefits with consumers, understanding the needs of different types of consumers visiting the store
  • Are able to work in a fast paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Can document customer issues in our state-of-the-art help desk applications.
  • Comfortable working with time tracking tools, updating tickets from computers or mobile devices.
  • Are outgoing, friendly, and ready to start every day with a positive attitude.
  • Patient and enjoy solving tough problems. Take pride in explaining and helping others understand problems and solutions.
  • Are an exceptional communicator and treat people kindly. Can gracefully break down, solve, and explain, even the most complex problems. Listening, talking, and working with people makes you happy.
  • Writing skills are flawless. Must have a savvy style and a firm grip on grammar.
  • Can de-escalate a tense situation with ease and grace–working through a tough issue or bug with an upset customer not only doesn’t scare you, it’s a challenge you’re eager to take on.
  • Hard worker with a history of getting things done carefully and efficiently. Thorough–no detail goes unnoticed. Self-motivated, but also enjoy contributing to a team.
  • Have the ability to switch gears quickly and readjust your focus appropriately.
  • Don’t mind doing the same thing from day to day. Comfortable jumping onto a side project when the occasion arises and aren’t scared to tackle the new and unknown.
  • Understand that when a ticket comes in and it's assigned to you/your group, you need to jump on it immediately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience Requirement:
  • Tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology devices
  • Presentation skills, experience in giving presentations in small or large group settings
  • Six plus months of retail experience
  • Experience working with any of the larger wireless carriers is a plus, including consumer electronics stores
  • Ability to work a flexible part-time or full-time retail schedule and special events. Days off, holidays, and regular hours may vary.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements (i.e. "plan-a-gram" software expertise, presentation skills):
  • Maintain knowledge of all Samsung products in order to be a subject matter expert onsite – complete required training on current and upcoming products
  • Demonstrate effective decision-making skills, the ability to reason and take action in resolving problems while exhibiting professional sound judgment
  • Ensure all designated KPIs are met or exceeded, including product training requirements
  • Knowledge of sales, training performance, and consumer workshop metrics
  • Educate and share product features and benefits with consumers, understanding the needs of different types of consumers visiting the store
  • Exhibit professional behaviors in daily interactions with consumers, peers, and management
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude and friendly, positive interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to setup customers' device based on their individual usage needs and interests
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with consumer device software, features and functionality, with appropriate needs-assessment, listening skills and patience
  • Ability to meet establish standard operating procedures, including following code of conduct, dress code, and meeting other procedures
  • Ability to commute to work location and to any assigned local event
  • Ability to stand comfortably for a full shift or event
  • Access to a PC computer with internet/email access for online new-hire training.
