Job Overview:

Talent Acquisition’s Systems Support associate is responsible for implementing, supporting, and testing system solutions.
The ideal Systems Support Associate will work with business partners to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope for systemic solutions, including testing and roll out that support Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) at Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. You will keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project delivery timelines, budget, and other results.

Perform other duties as assigned. This position is based out of Clearwater Florida.

Essential Functions:

• Create and manage system documentation for processes, implementation and releases
• Review system support requests and determine solutions for successful outcomes resulting in increased accuracy and efficiencies
• Implement designed features into proprietary applications using Visual Basic for Application and SQL
• Providing timely high quality customer service by independently researching and resolving problems
• Formulate reports by acquiring and preparing Talent Acquisition reports and analyses
• Communicate high-level design recommendations to a varied audience, obtaining feedback and executing desired results
• Maintain and update SharePoint team sites.
• Regular, dependable attendance, and punctuality

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or technology related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with VBA for Excel and Access.
• 1-2 years of experience with relational database programming.
• Experience supporting HRIS and other HR-related systems (Taleo, Oracle HCM Cloud, and Salesforce) preferred.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions across all levels of the organization and to a wide range technical acumen.

Mathematical Skills:

• Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to analyze multiple pieces of data and statistics and find a resolution or make suggestions.

Reasoning Ability:

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Creative problem solver, troubleshooter; ability to execute plans and strategies while adapting quickly to changing priorities, act decisively and persist in the face of obstacles

Physical Demands:

• This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Lifting and moving computer equipment.

Other Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL procedures.
• Strong technical background, enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies, enjoy working with people in a dynamic, fast pace environment.
• Intermediate level PC Windows skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Outlook, and Hardware)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills with consistent attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
• Strong background in investigating root cause analysis
• Familiarity with .NetFramework is preferred
