About this job
Automation Personnel Services is looking for highly motivated Field Service Engineers to install, troubleshoot, and repair Haas CNC machine tools. Candidates must live in or be willing to move to the Austin, TX area. This position may require travel throughout south Texas.
Job Qualification and Requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least a high school education and a minimum of 2 years of experience with industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair practices
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Knowledge of machine design and operation
Ability to read and understand measurement gauges
Ability to read manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment
Proficient with Windows based computers and Microsoft Office 2007 or later
Ability to work independently and great communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license with a good driving record MVR record may be required
Background check and drug screen are required.
