Position: Inventory 1
Department: Inventory
Shift: Monday Friday 1st
Overtime: As needed
Education: High school or equivalent
Pay rate $12.50
Essential Job Functions:
Under limited supervision is responsible for the accurate receipt, transfer, put-away, delivery, cycle counting, product replenishment, and kitting of parts. Perform consolidation, organization, maintenance, and housekeeping of all inventory locations as necessary. Maintain data and records in good order within and outside of the systems. Actively communicates with all departments to prevent, resolve and follow up with problems as they arise.
Qualifications:
Ability to cross train in any other inventory position
1 year Kan-Ban and Consignment experience a plus
Root cause analysis experience
1 year lean thinking in a warehouse / manufacturing environment
High level of organizational skills
Experience in warehouse operations and knowledge of material
Customer focused with a sense of urgency
Ability to analyze and select parts based on defined rules and requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
Fork truck certification
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
Bending, squatting, pushing pulling and the ability to lift up to 50LBS
