Assist the Engineering department to ensure a seamless stay for our guests.
Hotel Overview: Come be part of over 100 years of exceptional service at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, the Grand Dame of Boston, located in historic Back Bay.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
* Respond to Guest Calls
* Completes Work Orders
* Repairs Electrical work
* Pool Equipment repair
* Plumbing repair
* Mechanical repairs
* Any and all Engineering or Maintenance related item needed
Qualifications:
* Previous experience is an asset
* Conscientious and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Engineer with a proven commitment to safe and smooth facility operation. Expert manager of multiple hotel utility spaces and systems. Able to delegate maintenance and repair tasks effectively while exercising the right degree of supervisory oversight.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
* Constant standing and walking throughout shift
* Must be able to work outside for snow removal, able to climb ladders and work in a wide range of environments. Lift and carry up to 50LBS.
Visa Requirements: Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
