Exciting new opportunity at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center!
Conemaugh Nason is currently hiring for a Casual CRNA to join our Anesthesia team! The CRNA will provide specialized care to surgical and obstetrical patients involving the administration of anesthesia. Such care is appropriate to the ages of the patient served. This is highly skilled professional work done under the direct supervision of the Attending Surgeon and/or Director of Anesthesiology. Responsibility includes checking the physical condition of pre and post-operative patients, administering anesthesia, managing regional anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and various medical procedures.
The CRNA position is considered a casual position. Will work Monday through Friday.
1. Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Pennsylvania, and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.
2. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia.
3. Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and 4. Demonstrates current competency in management and clinical responsibilities.
5. Minimum of five years' experience as a CRNA.
