LabCorp is seeking a Histology Accessioning Technician to join their team!
This position performs laboratory procedures in accordance with the standard procedures. Duties of the position will include but are not limited to:
* Receiving and unpacking histology specimens
* Accessioning specimens into the LIS
* Data entry of patient demographics, client information, specimen collection , clinical data, and special requests
* Scanning, tracking, and routing specimens to appropriate testing laboratories
* Problem specimen resolution
* Point of contact for complex cases/clients
* Review of order entry for specialty accounts
* Training of new employees in the department
* Addressing email communications
* Other duties as assigned

* High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience or Associate's degree with 1-2 years of experience.
