Further your career at a BRAND NEW academy of early education. The Learning Experience at Brushy Creek is looking for a cook to distribute and prepare nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for our students while maintaining a clean environment in the kitchen. In addition, this employee will keep an accurate inventory of supplies and order replacement supplies as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Love for children
- Must be 18+ and have a high school degree or equivalent
- Demonstrate knowledge of reading cycle menu and basic cooking skills
- Must meet all state and Learning Experience requirements, including passing a background check
- Have reliable transportation and be dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to relate well to parents, children, and other staff
- Must have or receive within 30 days of hire Basic Food Handling Course
- Follow and maintain Texas Health Department regulations
