Responsibility:
Responsible for all activities related to service of the Rooftop Bar, which includes preparation tasks, training and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
Perform friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in: greeting, seating and waiting on all guests.
Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standard.
Understand and accurately follow the standard of sequence of service.
Ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques.
Understand all food and beverage items listed on bar menu, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
Explain basic food and beverage items pertains to other restaurant's full menus.
Have extensive knowledge of beverage menu items.
Have good knowledge of wines and spirit, and industrial trends.
Recognize and address potential intoxicated, disruptive or unwelcome guests.
Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
Utilize the POS system as per policies and procedure in place.
Observe and maintain daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the Rooftop Bar, public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
Attend and participate at all scheduled meetings.
Attend all scheduled trainings.
Ensure that employees are treated fairly and consistently to achieve high morale and minimum turnover: promote teamwork and foster harmonious working climate.
Give feedback on guest comments or complaints to the management.
Frequently communicate with the captains and to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Food & Beverage Department to stimulate continuous improvement.
Ensure a safe working environment for all employees within the Rooftop Bar.
Report employee and guest accidents.
Respond properly to any hotel emergency.
