We have an immediate opening for a strong, hands on project manager to join our North American Supply Chain Solution Delivery team. In this role you’ll will lead the testing discipline for our global WM rollout. You will assist with leading the Supply Chain Solution Delivery Team in multiple IT disciplines including Functional, Non-Functional, Application, Testing, Quality Assurance and Deployment disciplines for delivering the Manhattan Associates Open Systems Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Distributed/Enterprise Order Management (DOM/EOM) and Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) applications. You’ll bring significant experience providing SDLC and project management leadership skills of a large-scale supply chain and logistics implementation of Manhattan products across multiple sites. Your strong experience and familiarity with other critical supply chain systems will include Pick to Light, Pick to Voice, Conveyor, Slot Optimization, and Labor Management systems. Your prior supply chain operational skills will provide a basis for real-world use and testing of our software systems. Using knowledge of industry best practices and business analysis skills you will help plan, analyze and define leading solutions to our rapidly growing North American and Canadian divisions including Marshalls, Homegoods, TJMaxx, and Winners.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Leading a global testing team and discipline.
  • Driving cross-functional execution of multi-departmental efforts consisting of multiple programs, often with non-aligned schedules and deliverables from requirements to delivery.
  • Identifying areas in our processes and management of projects that can be modified and improved and execute steps to implement those changes.
  • Ensuring that a project delivers on time with high quality, within budget, and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives.
  • Holding team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverables and ensuring that these are met.
  • Continually looking for opportunities to improve current processes and approaches and implementing of these changes.
  • Anticipating, proactively identifying, documenting and managing key program risks and resource constraints, proposing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans across multiple programs.
  • Documenting and communicating objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conducting regular and “as needed” program and cross-functional team meetings as a component of the program operating mechanisms to update status, and identifying and resolving issues.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of supply chain systems, process and operations
  • 5+ years Project Management, PMP and or Prince2 preferred
  • In depth testing expertise for supply chain systems
  • Manhattan Associates systems experience required
  • Prior experience and knowledge of critical supply chain systems will include Pick to Light, Pick to Voice, Conveyor, Slot Optimization, and Labor Management systems.
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points.
  • Solutions orientated, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills. Presence, demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
  • Ability to intuitively gauge a project’s scope and the team’s ability to execute well.
  • Strong experience with MS Project and Visio.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Store and Distribution Center practices would be a significant advantage.
  • Ability to delegate and motivate effectively.
  • Knowledge of data processing hardware and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple and oft-changing priorities simultaneously.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • IT Security knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent hands on supply chain operations and systems experience.
