LEASE ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY

Independently audits, analyzes, and processes lease payments to our Landlords in accordance with Lease terms, or as advised by TJX Real Estate or Legal Departments for all domestic divisions. Ensures proper general ledger coding for payments. Communicates with Landlords, Real Estate and Legal departments to settle disputes. Candidate must have strong verbal and written Communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform desk audits of CAM (Common Area Maintenance) billings received from landlords for all domestic divisions.
• Ensure that billings are processed in compliance with Lease terms. This includes deducting non-reimbursable Lease charges.
• Communicates with Landlords to investigate various inquiries, as well as solve Landlord disputes.
• Works with Real Estate, Legal and other internal departments as needed to resolve issues.
• Provide support to both internal and external customers by investigating and resolving inquiries and disputes.
• Provide recommendations to Senior Analysts, Supervisor and Manager regarding negotiations with Landlords.
• Special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years of experience in Operational Audit, Finance or Accounting environment.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in audit, finance or accounting.
• Must possess the ability to independently interpret Leases, evaluate Lease terms and process payments according to the Lease.
• Strong math skills.
• Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytic skills.
