Job Description: * Serves as an advocate for patient/family/SO regarding decisions affecting the Plan of Care.
* Demonstrates awareness of the individual rights of the patient.
* Initiates change and improvements as indicated.
* Identifies the educational needs of clinical personnel and makes recommendations for appropriate educational opportunities.
* Investigates and analyzes patient or staff processes and intervenes to provide guidance and problem solving opportunities to insure patient care is not adversely affected.
* Conducts concurrent audits of patient care records to determine documentation compliance of staff.
* Assesses educational needs of staff and works with facility educator to provide inservices and appropriate learning opportunities.
* Training and competency of Davinci Robot for Physicians.
* Training and competency of Davinci Robot for Staff.
* Recruit Physicians for use of Davinci Robot.
* Business Development – Marketing of Davinci Robot.
* Establishes priorities for nursing actions.
* Organizes nursing activities in logical sequence.
* Participates in direct patient care, functioning as a role model to newer staff members.
* Continuously supervises and evaluates staff to ensure quality of nursing care.
* Develops yearly departmental PI plan based on identified opportunities and potential concerns.
* Is responsible for collecting data, analyzing, making recommendations for improvement and evaluating actions taken.
